September 2018 Rally

The September rally for The Cardinal Virginians took place in Sevierville, Tenn. at Two Rivers Landing RV Resort. While the hurricane was creating havoc in North Carolina, we were safe and sound joined by our sister club.
The Carolina Ramblers. Our joint gathering was wonderful! The Ramblers fed us a breakfast and supper, and we returned the favor for a supper and Sunday breakfast. Friday we went to the Titanic museum and then to a dinner show. Knowledge and fun were had at both places. Some of us chose to stay an extra day to let the rain from Florence wane down. The Ramblers were such pleasant folks and we hope they will join us again for a combined rally.
Those in attendance were Gene and Judy Matthews, Bayard and Sheree Barton, Rhoda and John Schoepf, Debbie and Neil Strong, John and Patty Nichols, Polly and Gary Jones, Deni and Kamal Rojiani, John and Robbie Davis, Dennis and Barbara Sarmento. A personal thank you to Barbara, Sherree and Rhoda and Debbie for helping me with Sunday breakfast. Many hands make light work! THANK YOU ALL.
