April 2022 Rally

Our first Rally of 2022, April 24-27, hosted by Paul and Carol Melton and Steve and Jeanie Miller at Cozy Acres Campground, was a great success. We had 14 rigs including former members Rick and Cindy Roberson of Alabama and guests Toby and Pat Ostrowski (joined as new members during the Rally!) Feliza Jones made a special appearance on Sunday as we were having Happy Hour.
Warm sunny weather greeted us on Sunday and Monday and is typical of the season cooler rainy weather followed on Tuesday. But that didn’t damper our spirits a bit as we had great renewing of friendship and wonderful assortment of food to enjoy.
We had time for a business meeting and mention of the upcoming GEAR rally in Lewisburg, WV, and even enjoyed a campfire with gourmet s’mores to bring back early childhood memories, but the grand finale of the week was on Tuesday.
We had a Mexican fiesta complete with a Taco Bar, margaritas, and a pinata game.
Ole!!! What a way to start our camping season!
Attendees were the Meltons, Millers, Lamberts, Schoepfs, Rojiani, Monroes, Matthews, Bartons, Bowers,Browns, Jones, Crabtrees, Ostrowskis, and Robersons.
