September 2019 Rally

Our August Rally was held August 16-19, 2022, at Waynesboro North 340. Our attendance was small: Rex Monroe and Betty Franklin, Kamal Rojiani, Bill and Cheryl Brown, Denny and Cheryl Byrd, Steve and Jeanie Miller and hosts Gary and Jane Lambert. We all agreed that this was the perfect number to have great conversations, camaraderie, and fun.
We started off Tuesday with a host sponsored summer cookout with hot dogs and hamburgers, potato salad and baked beans and finished it off with watermelon. Wednesday nine of us headed to Cross Keys Vineyard for an exquisite lunch and wine tastings followed by a trip to White Lavender farm. Thursday, we had a potluck breakfast followed by a potluck dinner of smoked turkey breast and grilled pork kebobs with peach cobbler for dessert. The weather was perfect for us with temps in the low to middle 70s and this gave us time to just relax and socialize.
